Low-carbon agriculture in the Brazilian Amazon – GHG emissions balance in family agricultural production: scenarios and opportunities (Executive Summary)

The present study was conducted by Solidaridad Brazil, under the «Inclusive and Sustainable Territories in the Amazon», a joint initiative of the cocoa and livestock programs. The objective was to understand how different social actors, specifically smallholder farmers in the Amazon, operate and how they can contribute to an inclusive approach to land development and to Brazil’s climate agenda through fostering the adoption of low-carbon agricultural practices on family farms.
